Hotel Windows and Doors for a Little Elm Project
This Little Elm hotel was conceived around a modern guest experience: views toward the surrounding landscape, comfortable rooms, and convenient movement through the property. Its exterior openings also had to follow a non-operable window design while accommodating ventilation, automatic-access, and emergency-egress functions. LUVINDOW supplied a thermal-break aluminum window-and-door package that included over 200 sashes.

Slim-Frame Fixed Windows and Louvered Openings
The fixed windows used aluminum frames and double-pane tempered insulating glass with Low-E coating and argon gas fill. Their slim frame profile placed visual emphasis on the glass area, connecting the supplied configuration with the project’s modern design and view-oriented intent. The Low-E insulating-glass make-up formed part of the hotel’s stated thermal strategy.
At selected locations, the window assembly paired the fixed glazed portion above with an aluminum louver below. This arrangement responded to the project requirement for non-operable exterior glazing while retaining a defined ventilation path. Only selected locations used the louvered arrangement.

Frequently Asked Questions
What Did LUVINDOW Supply For The Little Elm Hotel?
LUVINDOW supplied a thermal-break aluminum window-and-door package that included over 200 sashes. The project scope covered slim-frame fixed windows, selected fixed-window-and-louver assemblies, automatic sliding doors, and glazed emergency exit doors.
Why were fixed windows combined with aluminum louvers?
The project requirements called for non-operable exterior windows. At selected locations, a fixed glazed upper portion was paired with an aluminum louver below to provide a ventilation path within that design approach.
What glazing was used in the project?
Glass make-ups differed by application. The fixed windows used double-pane tempered glass with Low-E coating and argon gas fill; the automatic sliding doors used double-pane tempered glass.
What should a hotel project team send for quotation?
Send the current architectural drawings and window and door schedules, together with louver and automatic-door information, glass and finish requirements, and the requested delivery schedule. LUVINDOW can then review the proposed package scope.
