The fixed windows carried the project’s Low-E insulating-glass strategy across the room elevations, while the storefront glazing and double doors extended aluminum framing and tempered insulating glass to the front-of-house condition.

Shop drawings formed part of the project documentation, and identification labels were used with the supplied package.
Fixed Windows and Aluminum Louvers at PTAC Openings
At the PTAC locations, LUVINDOW supplied the aluminum window frame, upper fixed glazing, and lower aluminum louver. The fixed portion used double-pane tempered glass with Low-E coating and argon gas fill. That make-up formed part of the hotel’s cold-climate thermal strategy and its intended guest-room environment.
The aluminum louver addressed the exterior side of the PTAC opening. Its placement beneath the fixed glass made the equipment interface a visible part of the window composition rather than a separate operable sash.
Other Fixed Exterior Windows
The project also included fixed windows beyond the PTAC configuration. These units followed the project’s non-operable exterior-window direction and used double-pane tempered glass with Low-E coating and argon fill. Their role was to continue the fixed-glazing and thermal-specification approach at openings without a PTAC louver.
